Biography
Bonnie Turner is an American screenwriter, television writer and producer. Born on 28 August 1940 in Toledo, Ohio, she has worked extensively in comedy with her husband and creative partner Terry Turner since the mid-1970s.
The pair began as comedy writers in Atlanta before joining the writing staff of Saturday Night Live in 1986. Their SNL work led to film screenplays including Wayne's World (1992), Wayne's World 2 (1993), Coneheads (1993), The Brady Bunch Movie (1995) and Tommy Boy (1995). They created the sitcoms 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996) and That '70s Show (1998), and Turner has also written for That '90s Show (2023).
