Biography
Boris Sobelman was a television writer active in the 1960s. Born on 14 September 1909 in Russia, he worked primarily on American series and died on 29 January 1971 in Los Angeles, California.
He wrote the teleplay for the Star Trek first-season episode "The Return of the Archons" (1967), based on a story by Gene Roddenberry. His other credits include episodes of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour (1964), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1967), Dr. Kildare (1964–1965), Thriller (1961–1962), The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. (1966–1967), Run for Your Life (1966) and Mannix (1971). Sobelman received two Writers Guild of America nominations, for episodic comedy on Dr. Kildare in 1966 and episodic drama on Star Trek in 1968.
