Biography
Borys Szyc, also credited as Borys Szyc-Michalak or Borys Michalak, is a Polish film and theatre actor and musician. He was born on 4 September 1978 in Łódź and graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw in 2001. Since then he has performed regularly at Teatr Współczesny in Warsaw.
He received the Polish Academy Award for Best Actor in 2010. Szyc is known for roles in films including Vinci (2004), Testosteron (2007), Spoor (2017) and Cold War (2018), in which he played Lech Kaczmarek. He has also appeared in numerous Polish television series.
