Biography
Bowie Lam Bo-Yee (Chinese: 林保怡) is a Hong Kong actor and singer. He was born on 4 September 1965 in Hong Kong and briefly served in the Hong Kong Police Force before entering entertainment.
Lam made his acting debut in the 1986 film Kiss Me Goodbye and his singing debut in 1989. He joined TVB in 1991 and appeared in supporting roles in dramas including The Greed of Man (1992), File of Justice (1994–1997), Untraceable Evidence (1997, 1999) and Healing Hands (1998, 2000, 2005). His film credits include Hard Boiled (1992) as Lung, Supercop 2 (1993), Lawyer Lawyer (1997), The Sniper (2009), The Crossing (2014), Bleeding Steel (2017) and A Guilty Conscience (2023).
Lam received the TVB Anniversary Award for Best Actor for his role in War and Beauty (2004).
