Biography
Brad Breeck is an American composer and songwriter. He is best known for his work on Disney Television Animation projects, including composing the score and writing the theme song for the series Gravity Falls (2012–2016).
Breeck was born in Illinois and studied composition at the California Institute of the Arts. He was a member of the experimental punk band The Mae Shi before leaving in 2007 to focus on television and film music. His other credits include Fanboy & Chum Chum (2009–2012), Awkward. (2011–2016), Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2015–2019), We Bare Bears (2015–2019) and its 2020 film, The Owl House (2020–2023), and Kiff (2023–). In 2017 he won a Golden Reel Award for sound editing on the Nickelodeon film Albert.
