Biography
Brady Hood is a British television and film director. He trained on the MA Directing Fiction course at the National Film and Television School, graduating in 2016. His graduation short Sweet Maddie Stone won the Brief Grand Prix at Bristol Encounters Film Festival and Best Director at the Kodak/Nahemi Student Commercial Awards. He was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2016.
Hood began his career assisting directors including Joe Wright, Lone Scherfig and Otto Bathurst. He has directed episodes of Top Boy (2019–2022), The One (2021), Great Expectations (2023), all episodes of Prime Target (2025) and episodes of Legends (2026). He also directed the first episode of Endeavour season 5 (2018).
