Biography
Branden Wellington is an American actor and spoken word artist. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he trained at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, graduating in 2009.
He is known for recurring roles as CO Jarod Young in Orange Is the New Black (2018–2019) and Tony King in Sistas (2023–), as well as appearances in Russian Doll (2019) as Fred, Gotham (2015) as Young Guard, Younger (2016) as Guy #2 and The Upshaws (2021) as Inmate. Wellington has also written and performed spoken word poetry, including projects for the NBA, and won a Suncoast Emmy Award for writing.
