Biography
Brenda Lilly is an American television writer and producer. She has written episodes of series including Xena: Warrior Princess (1996), Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show (1998), Bobby's World (1996–1997), Shades of LA (1990–1991) and Parker Lewis Can't Lose (1991–1992). She co-created and served as executive producer on the family drama series State of Grace (2001–2002).
A fifth-generation native of Asheville, North Carolina, Lilly trained as an actress before moving to Hollywood and establishing a career as a writer. She later returned to her home state, where she teaches screenwriting at Western Carolina University and has written and directed plays.
