Biography
Brendan McCarthy is a British writer, artist and designer who has worked in comics, film and television. He studied Fine Art Painting and Film at Chelsea School of Art in London.
McCarthy contributed stories to the animated series ReBoot (1994–1996) and worked as its production designer. He co-wrote the screenplay for Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) with George Miller and Nick Lathouris, having earlier contributed to films including Highlander (1986) and Lost in Space (1998) in art and design roles. He is also known for comic work such as Shade, the Changing Man and Rogan Gosh.
