Biography
Brendan Wayne is an American actor and stunt performer. Born on 8 February 1972 in Encino, California, he trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the University of Southern California.
He began his career with a role in the series Angel (2000) and later appeared in Cowboys & Aliens (2011), Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014) and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013–2016). Wayne is best known as the primary suit performer and body double for the title character in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian (2019–2023) and its spin-off The Book of Boba Fett (2021), a role he reprises as The Mandalorian Suit Performer in the film The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026). He is the grandson of actor John Wayne.
