Biography

Bret Granato is a film and television editor. He served as one of the editors on the documentary O.J.: Made in America (2016), directed by Ezra Edelman, which was released both as a television series and in a theatrical version.

Granato shared the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Nonfiction Program with Maya Mumma and Ben Sozanski for their work on the series. He had previously collaborated with Edelman on the ESPN documentary Requiem for the Big East. Other editing credits include 6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park (2011), It Happened Here (2014) and The Homeless Chorus Speaks (2018).
