Biography

Brian L. Chambers was an American film and television editor, producer and post-production executive. He worked as an editor on series including NYPD Blue (1993), Sliders (1995), M.A.N.T.I.S. (1994–1995), American Gothic (1995), Judging Amy (2000–2002) and Get Real (1999–2000). Earlier in his career he served in the editorial department on features such as My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988), Frankie and Johnny (1991) and Lethal Weapon 3 (1992).

Chambers later became director of post-production at 20th Century Fox Television, overseeing post-production on series including Bones and Modern Family. He taught editing at the American Film Institute for nearly a decade. He was the son of television producer and writer Ernest Chambers.
