Biography
Brian Smedley-Aston is a British film editor, assistant director and producer. He began his career as an assistant editor in the early 1960s and worked as an editor on films including The Loved One (1965) and Performance (1970).
His editing credits also include Girl Stroke Boy (1971), Symptoms (1974), Squirm (1976), Blue Sunshine (1977) and the television miniseries Holocaust (1978). He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Film Editing for Holocaust. He is the son of film producer Michael Smedley-Aston.
