Biography
Brian True-May is a British television producer. He worked as a location manager and production manager on earlier projects before becoming a producer.
He co-created and produced the ITV crime series Midsomer Murders (1997), serving as producer or executive producer on 89 episodes through series 14 in 2012. He also produced episodes of Ultimate Force (2002) and The Broker's Man (1998), and the television film The Vacillations of Poppy Carew (1995).
In 2011 True-May was suspended following comments in an interview about the show's lack of ethnic minority characters, later apologised, and stepped down from the series at the end of its current production run.
