Biography
Brian Williams is a Welsh musician, sound designer and composer, best known for his work under the name Lustmord. He began releasing music as Lustmord in 1980 and has been credited with helping to establish the dark ambient genre through albums that incorporate field recordings and electronic processing.
Williams has contributed musical sound design and additional music to numerous films, often in collaboration with Graeme Revell and Paul Haslinger. His full scores include First Reformed (2018) and The Empty Man (2020). He has also worked on video games such as Evolve (2015) and television series including The Strain.
