Biography
Bridget Bedard is an American television writer and producer. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Film Studies and earned an MFA in Directing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her thesis film Baby premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2001.
Bedard taught screenwriting and directing before her television writing debut on Mad Men (2007), for which she shared a Writers Guild of America Award for Best New Series and a Peabody Award. She later wrote and produced on Men of a Certain Age (2009–2011), which also received a Peabody Award, served as head writer on the first season of Transparent (2014) and co-showran Love Life (2020).
