Biography
Bruce Ornstein is an American actor, writer and director. He is known for playing Gus in the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever.
Ornstein wrote and directed the 1992 feature Jack and His Friends, which starred Sam Rockwell. He co-wrote and directed the 2012 horror comedy Vamperifica. He has also appeared in television series including L.A. Law and Law & Order.
In addition to his screen work, Ornstein founded the Bruce Ornstein Acting Workshop in New York in 1997 and serves as an adjunct professor in the Columbia University MFA Program for Film.
