Biography
Bruce Ramsay (born 31 December 1966) is a Canadian actor, writer, producer and director. Born and raised in Montreal, his screen debut came opposite Elias Koteas in Malarek (1988). He later appeared with Koteas in Hit Me (1996) and Collateral Damage (2002).
Ramsay's first major lead role was as Carlitos Páez in Alive (1993). He has appeared in films including Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996), Holes (2003), Timeline (2003), Brick Mansions (2014) and as Carlucci in Behind the Candelabra (2013). Television credits include Supernatural, Continuum and Hell on Wheels.
In 2011 Ramsay made his directorial debut with Hamlet, which he also produced, wrote and starred in. He created, wrote, starred in and produced the 2022 series The Porter.
