Biography
Bruce Schoengarth was an American film and television editor. He was born on 27 April 1918 in Coleraine, Minnesota, and died on 30 June 1995 in Canyon Country, California.
Schoengarth edited 14 episodes of the series Star Trek (1966–1968) while employed at Desilu. His other television credits include dozens of episodes of Lassie (1962–1973), as well as work on Mannix, Ben Casey and Hawaii Five-O. He began his career editing feature films in the 1930s and 1950s, and later worked primarily in sound editing, including on Mork & Mindy.
Schoengarth was the father-in-law of John Jefferies’s daughter.
