Biography
Bruce William Harper is a Canadian cinematographer and camera operator. Born on 21 August 1976 in Toronto, Ontario, he has worked in both independent film and larger television productions.
Harper's early credits as director of photography include the features Chasing Valentine (2015), Valor's Dawn (2015) and Pete Winning and the Pirates: The Motion Picture (2015), as well as shorts and series such as Kitchener Sync (2018). He later focused on camera operation, serving as main unit operator on series including The Hardy Boys (2022) and Titans (2021–2023), with additional work on Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Gen V.
A member of IATSE Local 667, Harper maintains a professional website and CV documenting his commercial and narrative work since the mid-2000s. He has received awards for cinematography on Chasing Valentine.
