Biography

Bruno Crucitti is an Italian actor. Born in Messina on 8 June 1958, he trained in theatre, graduating in 1985 from the Scuola Regionale di Teatro in Messina under Costantino de Luca, with acting teachers including Checco Rissone and Arnoldo Foà. He also studied mime, lyric singing and theatrical writing, and later graduated in Letters and Philosophy, specialising in the History of Theatre and Performance, from La Sapienza University in Rome.

He has worked extensively in theatre, including with Dario Fo, the Mummenschanz, Giancarlo Sbragia and Carla Gravina, and in the company of Enrico Maria Salerno until 1994. His stage credits include productions directed by Franco Zeffirelli and performances at the Spoleto Festival and the Royal National Theatre in London. On screen he has appeared in numerous Italian television series and films, including Rocco Schiavone (2023) as Giorgio Fanelli, The Young Montalbano (2015), Don Matteo (2011) and RIPLEY (2024) as the chiropractor.
