Biography
Bryan Cogman is an American television writer and producer. A graduate of the Juilliard School with a BFA in Acting (2001), he began his career in television as a writer's assistant on the short-lived series My Own Worst Enemy before joining the production of Game of Thrones.
He wrote eleven episodes of Game of Thrones (2011–2019) across its run and served as a producer on the series, receiving multiple Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series. Cogman is also the author of the book Inside HBO's Game of Thrones (2012).
Subsequent credits include consulting producer on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022) and development work on projects including a Magic: The Gathering feature film and a Zorro series.
