Biography
Byron Barr (1917–1966), sometimes billed as Byron S. Barr, was an American actor. Born in Corning, Iowa, he appeared in 19 films between 1944 and 1951. His screen debut was as Nino Zachetti in Double Indemnity (1944).
Barr had supporting roles in Pitfall (1948) as Bill Smiley and The File on Thelma Jordon (1950) as McCary. His only lead came in the 1946 B-movie Tokyo Rose. He retired from acting in 1951.
