Biography

Byron Morgan (24 October 1889 – 22 May 1963) was an American screenwriter and occasional actor. Born in Carthage, Missouri, he worked in Hollywood from the silent era through the 1940s.

Morgan received a screenplay credit on the 1931 drama Five Star Final, directed by Mervyn LeRoy and based on a play by Louis Weitzenkorn. He also contributed continuity to the 1933 Laurel and Hardy comedy Sons of the Desert. His other credits include Flying Devils (1933), Wings for the Eagle (1942) and Gallant Journey (1946).
