Biography
Byun Bong-sun is a South Korean cinematographer. He studied cinematography at the Korean Film Academy and began working on short films there in 2007. His first feature credit was Bleak Night (2010).
He has served as director of photography on numerous films and series, including The Terror Live (2013), Obsessed (2014), Phantom Detective (2016), Psychokinesis (2018), Space Sweepers (2021), Hellbound (2021), Badland Hunters (2024), Parasyte: The Grey (2024) and Colony (2026). He received nominations for best cinematography awards for Space Sweepers.
