Biography
Caleb Sampson (1953–1998) was an American composer. He provided the score for Errol Morris's documentary Fast, Cheap & Out of Control (1997) and worked with Morris on other projects from 1995, including the television series Interrotron Stories.
His documentary credits include the films My Father's Garden (1995) and Mr. Death: The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr. (1999), as well as the television special Mystery of the Last Tsar (1997) and series such as NOVA and The American Experience. Sampson co-founded the Alloy Orchestra, which created original scores for silent films including Metropolis and Nosferatu, and he composed for Sesame Street from 1988.
