Biography
Cameron Roach is a British television producer. He began his career working on the launch of ITV2 and at Sky’s contact centre in Livingston, having studied International Relations at the University of Aberdeen. Early producing credits include Footballers' Wives, Bad Girls, Casualty, Life on Mars (2006) and Silk.
Roach joined Sky Drama as a commissioning editor in 2013 and served as Director of Drama until 2021, overseeing titles such as Britannia, A Discovery of Witches, The Third Day (2020), I Hate Suzie and Gangs of London. In 2021 he founded the Manchester-based independent production company Rope Ladder Fiction, which co-produces Waterloo Road for the BBC and supports emerging talent through training and development programmes.
