Biography
Camille Winbush is an American actress and singer. She was born on 9 February 1990 in Culver City, California, and began acting as a child. Her early roles include appearances in the television series Viper (1994) and films such as Dangerous Minds (1995) and Eraser (1996).
Winbush played Pearline in Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999). She was a series regular as Emma Aimes on the sitcom Minor Adjustments (1995–1996) and provided the voice of Ashley Tomossian on the animated series Recess. She is best known for portraying Vanessa Thomkins on The Bernie Mac Show (2001–2006) and Lauren Treacy on The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2013). Her television work earned her three NAACP Image Awards and a Young Artist Award.
