Biography
Candice King (née Accola) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for playing Caroline Forbes in the CW series The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017) and reprising the role in the spin-offs The Originals (2013) and Legacies (2018).
Born in Houston, Texas, she grew up in Florida and began her career with a debut album released independently in 2006. She toured as a backing singer for Miley Cyrus and appeared in the concert film Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert (2008). Her early screen credits include small roles in Juno (2007) and Deadgirl (2008), and guest appearances in series such as How I Met Your Mother (2005), Supernatural (2005) and Drop Dead Diva (2009).
