Biography
Carey Jones is an American actor, makeup artist and puppeteer. He is credited as Carey L. Jones for his role as the Tracker Predator in the 2010 film Predators, his first film acting part. He has also appeared in suit or creature roles including the Lake Monster in Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster (2010), an Alpha Werewolf in the series Teen Wolf (2011–2017), the Rape Demon in This Is the End (2013), Black Krrsantan in The Book of Boba Fett (2021–2022), Gorian Shard in The Mandalorian (2019–2023) and Ted (Man-Thing) in Werewolf by Night (2022).
Jones works primarily in special makeup effects and has contributed to numerous film and television productions. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for his makeup work on the series The Walking Dead. He has been based at KNB Effects Group in Los Angeles since 2003 and has also performed puppeteer duties on projects including Dolphin Tale 2 (2014).
