Biography
Carina Wiese is a German actress. Born in Dresden in 1968, she trained at the Theaterhochschule "Hans Otto" in Leipzig and completed her studies in 1991 after securing an engagement at Schauspiel Leipzig.
She is known for playing Ingrid Rauch in the series Deutschland (2015–2020) and the adult Franziska Doppler in Dark (2017–2020). Other film roles include Barbara Steiner in The Book Thief (2013), Irmgard Lemke in The Silent Revolution (2018) and appearances in The Cloud (2006) and Everyone Else (2009). She has had a recurring role as Andrea Schäfer in Alarm für Cobra 11: The Motorway Police since 1996.
Wiese has also worked extensively in theatre and radio drama, and received the Deutscher Hörspielpreis der ARD in 2020.
