Biography
Carl Bressler is an American actor and producer. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he began his career in the music business before moving to Los Angeles in 1980 to pursue acting, leaving law school. He trained with acting coach Stella Adler and later with William Chow of the Peking Opera.
Bressler is known for his role as Saul Berg in The Usual Suspects (1995). He has appeared in numerous other films and television series, including Timber Falls (2007) as Sam, Z Nation (2015) as Don Francisco Berg, and Arthur 2: On the Rocks (1988). He has also produced films such as Smoke Signals (1998). Bressler has performed in many stage productions and has a noted pattern of playing characters named Berg.
