Biography
Carla Bennett is a Hong Kong-born Canadian actress, singer and dancer. She grew up in Toronto and trained at the Toronto Arts School, Claude Watson School for the Arts and the Harvard University dance programme.
Bennett has appeared in film and television since the late 1990s. Her credits include a dancer in Blues Brothers 2000 (1998), Singing Gentern #1 in Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008), Receptionist in Without a Trace (2002), Backup Singer #1 in Man Seeking Woman (2015) and Reporter 1 in A Very Country Christmas (2017). She played Palion Aide #2 in the first episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022).
Her stage work includes four seasons at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, where she received two Tyrone Guthrie Awards, as well as appearances with Drayton Entertainment and Neptune Theatre.
