Biography
Carlos Bardem is a Spanish actor and writer. Born in Madrid on 7 March 1963, he is the son of actress Pilar Bardem and the elder brother of actors Mónica Bardem and Javier Bardem.
He made his feature film debut in Not Love, Just Frenzy (1996). Bardem is known for roles in Torrente: The Dumb Arm of the Law (1998), Goya's Ghosts (2006), La zona (2007), Che: Part Two (2008) as Moisés Guevara, Cell 211 (2009), Escobar: Paradise Lost (2014) and Assassin's Creed (2016). His television credits include El Señor de los Cielos and 30 Coins.
He has received nominations and awards from the Spanish Actors Union, including the Newcomer Award for a Male for La zona (2007), and has also worked as a screenwriter and novelist.
