Biography
Carlos López Estrada (born 12 September 1988) is a Mexican-American film and television director, writer, producer and actor. Born in Mexico City, he moved to the United States at the age of 12 and later studied at Chapman University.
He made his feature directorial debut with Blindspotting (2018). He co-directed the Disney animated feature Raya and the Last Dragon (2021), which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature. Estrada has also directed music videos and an episode of the FX series Legion (2019).
