Biography

Carlos Rosario is a costume designer. Born in Perpignan, France, to Spanish parents, he trained at the École Supérieure de la Mode (ESMOD) in Paris before moving to Los Angeles in 1995.

He began his film career assisting Colleen Atwood on productions including Sleepy Hollow (1999), Chicago (2002) and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004). Rosario has worked as costume designer on Don't Breathe (2016), The Girl in the Spider's Web (2018), Don't Breathe 2 (2021) and Alien: Romulus (2024), and on the series Shōgun (2024).

He has collaborated repeatedly with director Fede Álvarez. Rosario won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Period Costumes for Shōgun.
