Biography
Carlyle Blackwell Jr. was an American actor. Born on 22 May 1913 in Glendale, California, he appeared in films from the early 1930s to the late 1940s, frequently in small or uncredited parts.
His credits include Flirtation Walk (1934) as a cadet, Cleopatra (1934), Romeo and Juliet (1936) as Tybalt's page, Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo (1944) as a pilot singer and Objective, Burma! (1945) as Parker. He was the son of silent-era actor Carlyle Blackwell. He later worked as a photographer on films including The James Dean Story (1957). Blackwell died on 20 September 1974 in Hollywood, California.
