Biography
Carmine Paternoster is an Italian actor born in Naples in 1972. He made his screen debut in the 2003 film I Cinghiali di Portici and trained at FormAzioneScena between 2006 and 2008. He had earlier worked in theatre from 2003, appearing in productions directed by Sergio Longobardi, Alessandra Cutolo and others.
Paternoster is best known for playing Roberto in Matteo Garrone’s Gomorrah (2008). He later portrayed ‘O Munaciello in the fifth season of the television series Gomorrah (2021). His other film credits include The Interval (2012), Take Five (2013), Falchi (2017) and The Intruder (2017).
