Biography
Carol Barbee is an American television writer, producer and actress. Born Carol Denise Barbee on 22 May 1959 in Concord, North Carolina, she holds a BA from Wake Forest University and an MFA in acting from UCLA.
She began writing for television with Providence and contributed episodes to Judging Amy (1999), Jericho (2006), Hawaii Five-0 (2010), Falling Skies (2011), Touch (2012), UnREAL (2015), Dig (2015), Raising Dion (2019) and Dash & Lily (2020). She has served as executive producer or showrunner on series including Jericho, UnREAL and Raising Dion, which she created. Barbee is married to actor Carlos Lacámara.
