Biography
Carol Yorke, also credited as Carol Bjorkman, was an American actress. Born in 1929 in Swissdale, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she travelled to Los Angeles at the age of 18 and made her only screen appearance as Marie in the 1948 film Letter from an Unknown Woman.
She later moved to New York, where she worked in fashion publicity and buying before becoming a syndicated columnist for Women's Wear Daily under the name Carol Bjorkman. She died in New York City on 5 July 1967.
