Biography
Carolyn Lipka is an American writer and producer based in Los Angeles. She graduated from Yale University with a bachelor of arts in history and film studies. Her early career included work as a research assistant and intern on projects such as the PBS series American Experience.
Lipka has contributed articles to publications including Food & Wine, Teen Vogue, Vulture, The Cut, Forbes and New York Magazine. She has worked on television productions including Hulu’s The Dropout and developed pilots for Keshet Studios, Comedy Central and Amazon. She has also produced podcasts such as Renegades: Born in the USA and The Sum of Us, and wrote jokes for the 2020 Biden presidential campaign.
