Biography

Cassio Amarante is a Brazilian production designer and art director. He received a production design credit on Central Station (1998), directed by Walter Salles.

Amarante has worked extensively in Brazilian cinema and television. His credits include production design or art direction on Behind the Sun (2001), The Year My Parents Went on Vacation (2006), Bingo: The King of the Mornings (2017), Monica and Friends: Bonds (2019) and Angela (2023), as well as numerous episodes of the series Tô de Graça (2017–2025). He has accumulated 13 wins and 11 nominations for his work.
