Biography
Catherine Haight is a film and television editor. She is a member of the American Cinema Editors and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
A New Hampshire native, Haight graduated from Occidental College in 1998. She began her career as a production assistant before working as an assistant editor on projects including The Cabin in the Woods (2012). She became a full editor with the pilot of HBO’s Girls, for which she received an ACE Eddie nomination.
Haight has had a long collaboration with Joey Soloway, editing Afternoon Delight (2013), the pilot and multiple episodes of Transparent (2014–2016; Emmy and ACE Eddie nominations), and I Love Dick (2016). Her other credits as editor include Playing It Cool (2014), The Polka King (2017), Puzzle (2018), Troop Zero (2019), The Good House (2021) and the Netflix limited series Sirens (2025; Emmy nomination for the pilot).
