Biography
Catherine Millar is an Australian television director. She trained at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), where she later served as Head of Directing from 2007 to 2010 and Deputy Director of Screen Content from 2010 to 2012.
She has directed episodes of numerous Australian series, including Farscape (2000–2001), The Lost World (1999–2002), Heartbreak High (1995–1998), Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (2013), Wentworth (2013–2017), A Place to Call Home (2016–2018), Harrow (2019–2021) and The Secrets She Keeps (2020). She has also directed on NCIS: Sydney (2023–).
Millar developed and directed the 1989 miniseries Darlings of the Gods, for which she won an AWGIE award for Best Television Adaptation. She received an AFI nomination for Best Television Director for an episode of Twisted Tales (1996).
