Biography
Cathryn Harrison was an English actress. Born Cathryn Mary Lee Harrison on 25 May 1959 in London, she began her career as a teenager in Robert Altman's Images (1972). She played Lily in Louis Malle's Black Moon (1975) and Irene in The Dresser (1983).
Harrison appeared in several British television productions, including Robin of Sherwood (1984) as Isadora, A Christmas Carol (1984) as Kate, and Agatha Christie's Poirot (1989) as Cecily, Lady Horbury. She also featured in A Handful of Dust (1988) and the miniseries Portrait of a Marriage (1990).
She was the daughter of actor and singer Noel Harrison and the granddaughter of Sir Rex Harrison. In 1996 she married Paul Laing; she died in October 2018 in Plymouth, Devon.
