Biography
Cathy Cahlin Ryan is an American actress. She is known for playing Corrine Mackey in all seven seasons of the series The Shield (2002–2008), receiving main cast credit in seasons five to seven.
A native of Miami, Florida, Ryan was a theatre major at Florida Atlantic University. She moved to Los Angeles in 1993, where she performed on stage and worked as a substitute teacher. Her other television credits include guest roles in Monk (2008), Lie to Me (2009), Justified (2012) and a recurring role as Dr. Wendy Hughes in S.W.A.T. (2017–2025). Film appearances include Redbelt (2008) and The Trials of Cate McCall (2013). She also provided a voice for Family Guy (2009).
Ryan has been married to television writer and producer Shawn Ryan since 1998; they have two children.
