Biography
Cathy Schulman is an American film producer. A Yale University graduate, she began her career in the late 1980s and has credits as associate producer on Isn't She Great (2000) and producer on Sidewalks of New York (2001), Employee of the Month (2004) and Godsend (2004).
Schulman produced Crash (2004), which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2006; she also received the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Film and a BAFTA nomination for Best Film. Her later producing credits include The Illusionist (2006), Horns (2013), The Edge of Seventeen (2016, executive producer), Five Feet Apart (2019), The Woman King (2022) and The Idea of You (2024). She is the CEO and president of Welle Entertainment and served as president of Women in Film from 2007 to 2018.
