Biography
Cavan Kendall was a British actor. Born Cavan Spencer Kendall McCarthy on 22 May 1942, he appeared in numerous television series from the 1950s onwards, including Doctor Who, Thriller and The Way We Live Now, as well as stage productions such as the original West End run of Vivat! Vivat Regina!.
His film roles included Pierre de Valois in Eureka (1983) and Sergeant Flower in The Clandestine Marriage (1999). Kendall's final screen appearance was as Aitch in Sexy Beast (2000). He died of cancer on 29 October 1999.
He was the half-brother of actress Kay Kendall and grandson of music-hall performer Marie Kendall.
