Biography
Cay Kristiansen was a Danish actor. He trained at the Royal Danish Theatre's drama school, graduating in 1952, and also received professional singing training. He appeared in stage productions and operas, including Figaros Bryllup at the Fynske Opera in Odense, and worked at major Danish theatres. He remained active on stage into his eighties.
Kristiansen appeared in a small number of films and television productions. He played Anders Borgen (uncredited) in Carl Theodor Dreyer's Ordet (1955) and Poul in Gabriel Axel's Babette's Feast (1987). Other credits include The Girls Are Willing (1958), The Witch Hunt (1981), the television series Bryggeren (1997) and Just Like Home (2007).
