Biography
Cecilia Parker was a Canadian-born American actress. Born in Fort William, Ontario, she moved to Los Angeles as a child and began her film career in the early 1930s as a contract player at MGM.
She appeared in dozens of films during the 1930s and 1940s, including an uncredited role in Frankenstein (1931), as Olga in The Painted Veil (1934) and as Julie in Naughty Marietta (1935). She was best known for portraying Marian Hardy, sister of Andy Hardy, in eleven films of the series from 1937 to 1942, and returned for Andy Hardy Comes Home (1958).
Parker married actor Robert Baldwin in 1938 and became a naturalised US citizen in 1940. After retiring from acting she worked in real estate in Ventura, California.
